Being A Sports Writer

There’s more to writing that it seems to be.

You see, writing is using a pen to express your feelings. You also see, writing is using a pen to voice your opinions. You even see, writing is using a pen to state your wishes.

Most of all, writing is using a pen to tell an extraordinary story – one that will not just inspire others to become better people, but also one that will inspire you to help others become better people.

One such kind of writer is a sports writer.

Contrary to popular belief, sports writing don’t just involve a person writing about the latest news on what’s going on in the National Basketball Association. And contrary to popular belief, sports writing don’t just involve a person writing about what’s going on in the National Football League.

Being a writer, after all, is telling stories in a different perspective. Being a writer, after all, is telling stories in a new way every time.

Being a sports writer is no exception.

Even more so, sports writing is about taking a closer look on what makes a sport worth looking forward to. It’s about taking a closer look on what makes a sport unique from all the others – all by writing stories about its rules, its advantages, its players, and even its fans. It’s also about taking a closer look on what makes a sport different from all the others – all by writing stories about its traditions, its principles, its challenges, and even its missions.

Indeed, there’s more to writing that it seems to be.

And when it comes to sports writing, nothing compares inspiring more people to reach their goals in life by doing what they love to do – just like in the case of sport athletes and even Olympic athletes.
